The Sheffield City Region is brimming with entrepreneurial talent and it was the talents of some of the region’s newest and most promising business ventures which were showcased at the 2019 Launchpad Awards.
Celebrating the achievements of new and aspiring business owners, this was a night for the do-ers, the dreamers and the achievers, with some incredible achievements and journeys being shared.
Compered by Hallam FM’s Simon Morykin, the event offered guests a chance to hear from and pose questions to Emma Jones MBE, founder of the Enterprise Nation who summed up the spirit of the evening “Starting a business takes time, resilience and a can do attitude. It’s an incredible thing to do which brings both challenges and opportunities”.
The 2019 Launchpad Awards recognises the efforts of growing businesses, inspirational achievements as well as many new and innovative ideas which are playing their part in shaping the local economy. The Sheffield City Region has so much to offer and it’s a great place to start a business. The Launchpad Awards were created to recognise and reward the aspiring entrepreneurs and new businesses in the area, for the hard work that goes in to setting up and running a business.
